Our Staff/Program |
 |
|
| |
Our staff is a diverse group of
individuals with a over 75-years of combined experience.
Without these people, our program would not be
what it is today. We hire people who are
interested in bringing quality to a child's day,
whether these children are with us for as short as 3
hours or 10 hours a day. We make sure to learn,
pray, share and have fun everyday. No
preschooler could ask for a better teacher than what
they will have at ECM.
Our Infant and
Toddler programs are unique. We allow for 3
classes within these age groups, dividing our younger
and older toddlers. We are able to handle
infants as early as 6 weeks old. These children
are exposed to soothing and lively music throughout
the day. They have a variety of activity centers
to engaged their eyes and hands. Our Bye Bye
Buggies (a four seat stroller) is used by the younger ages. The younger and older toddlers enjoy
outside time with a playground equipped with just
their size swings and climbers.
Classes for our 2’s, 3’s and Pre-K
children are separated into Part and Full-time classes.
The part-time classes are set up to have children coming
on partial days of the week for our 2's and 3's. Our Part-time Pre-K
classes have a 5 day “Extended Day” program, 2 Three day
programs and 1 Four Day program.
Our Full time 2’s, 3’s and Pre-K function
separately from our Part-time classes. These children
have developed their own “family” as many of these
children have been together since the infant room.
Imagine having 14, 16 or 18 children all of the same
age, every day, all day. Our staff creates that “home”
feeling for the children as we share meal time and for
the younger children a quiet rest period as well.
