Our Toddler class is our group of
children who are making the transition from Infancy to
independence. These children are not only "learning"
colors and shapes, but also finding their words and how
to interact with others their own age. They will
participate hands on in many seasonal activities which
may include making orange juice, feeling the inside of a
pumpkin, painting with a lemon or tasting different
seasonings. This is a wonderful age to teach as
these children are "sponges" wanting and ready to learn
through their experiences. This class is located a step
from the playground which is a wonderful place for them
to walk outside as many are still getting their footing.

Elenice Santos
"Ms. El" is starting her 2nd year
with ECM as the Lead Toddler teacher know as the
"Turtle" class. She has
just completed her National Christian CDA and is
excited about starting a new year with her new
class of young children. She is very hands
on and allows these young children to be
independent in their play.

Angela Maple
This is Ms. Angela's first year
as our Assistant "Turtle" teacher. However,
she is well known at ECM as she has substituted
in many classes. She has been a part of
the ECM family for the past two years as both of
her boys have been enrolled. She brings a
lot of energy to the class and loves to be with
the children.

Katie Wienbarg
Katie has been a part of the ECM
staff for 2 1/2 years. She loves the
little ones and really enjoys the time she has
with the children. She is a student at FAU
and works in this classroom during the
afternoons.

Georgia
Cannon
Georgia has been at ECM just a
short while, but enjoys the interaction with the
children. She is beginning her college
career and also works in the classroom in the
afternoons.
